Last nite in Wyoming
Back on the road big time again tomorrow. Heading to South Dakota near Mount Rushmore and some other cool sites.
Quick note: I have interacted with a whole bunch of folks on this journey. I’ve been particularly impressed and heartened by the generation in their 20s and early 30s. Granted I had a positive predilection with John (and Brandi) and Jake being in this demo but, given the prevalent cynicism and divisiveness that clogs our news and social media my interactions have been so meaningful with this group and has blown away my own foggy cynicism on what our future holds. Key is, a whole generation or two need to get the heck out of the way and let this gang take over. They are living lives not constricted or bound by precedence or expectations but rather finding joy in the freedom to choose their own paths in this world. I’ve had so many deep conversations that unlocked my own perspective and have been a recipient of generosity, kindness and connection. I will end my journey in a week’s time with renewed hope and confidence that we are in good hands. And I hope to continue to stay engaged and an active part of solutions.
