Peaceful easy feeling

Pretty chill day. Work some in Duck Creek Village - big shoutout to Ground & Toasted

coffee shop. Quick story: G&T coffee shop was closed yesterday but I was WiFi scarfing sitting in my car out front of the shop. And, at the time, I was unshowered for a few days and unshaven. I looked rough to be kind. The owner of the shop approached my open window and she said, “excuse me sir, but what are you doing?” I have never in my life known what it felt like to be a vagrant but I did then! I was aghast. And fumbling and sputtering I’m sorry I’m so sorry. Turns out she was incredibly kind and let me finish what I was doing. Embarrassed is putting it lightly. Anyway, I went back this morning and ordered up an Americana and the best avocado toast on homemade sourdough bread ever. I ended up talking to both the owners and they could not have been more accommodating. So, if you’re ever in Duck Creek Village Utah be sure to hit them up! Oh, and Aunt Sue’s too…cuz they were equally amazing!

I’ve now shaved and showered up here in Sevier and am reveling in the serenity of this riverside spot.

And across from my spot is this full basketball court. Gonna get some work in on my jumper in the morning and hit the hot springs.
